Post-COVID Digital Marketing Strategy (Part 1)

September 8, 2020 | 9AM – 12PM

The course will walk you through the essential elements of building a digital marketing strategy, from understanding and serving your ideal customers and setting digital marketing objectives, to content strategy and tactics to connect your content to your audience.

Taking a 10,000-foot view, this workshop will help you ladder up your marketing objectives from your business goals. If you are looking to organize your marketing efforts in a post-pandemic way, this workshop will help you develop the strategy to do that. While we will not be diving into minutia and details of each particular platform, there are additional workshops and Builder Workshops available should you choose to take a deeper dive. This course is applicable to both small businesses and enterprise-level organizations. The methods explored are scalable from a multi-year strategy to campaign level executions.

A Winning Post-COVID Social Media Plan

December 8th, 2020 | 9AM – 12PM

Social Media is evolving at a record pace. It is no longer a place to just post an update on your summer holiday, it’s a place to analyze customer metrics, create dark posts, advertise, influence others and share options, generate leads, drive sales and website traffic and so much more. A social media plan must consider things like best times to post but more importantly what to post and where.

The Carmella Crew will guide you through this 3 hour workshop and hold your hand while you develop your plan for the next 90 days or 12 months.

You will learn how to set realistic goals (KPI’s) and how to measure them.

A social media plan is an essential part of your growth strategy, which includes a planned out content calendar, an arsenal of automation tools, tools for tracking performance metrics, and more. Posting an image with an emoji is not good enough, each post needs to ladder up to a higher strategic objective.

A social media plan includes:

  • A clear list of goals and objectives.
  • Competitive analysis.
  • A basic social media content strategy outline.
  • Building a social media calendar.
  • Established methods for measurement and analysis.

Pinterest

April 13, 2021 | 9AM – 12PM

Why it’s not social media and how to master this powerful SEO tool

Did you know that Pinterest isn’t just a social network — it’s a visual search engine?! Millions of users turn to Pinterest to enhance their lifestyle, and they are doing so by using the search function on Pinterest. Pinterest functions similarly to the Google SERP by delivering results in the search engine based on your search query. Let’s face it, Pinterest will definitely not overthrow Google as the go to for search, but as more users catch on and use Pinterest to search and share, it will become a discovery and search tool for billions.

You’ll learn how to pair Pinterest with your blogging strategy for maximum results and you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how the platform works and why you can’t afford not to be using it.

Create Your Actionable Digital Marketing Strategy (Part 2)

October 6, 2020 | 9AM – 12PM

Crafting a successful marketing plan is both an art and a science.

Evaluating the effectiveness of that plan is a craft.

The planning process is critical to the success of any marketing project, the marketing plan is the most important document for guiding the right teams to achieve the business goals of the organization. Building the marketing plan involves intrinsic knowledge of plan components, management skills, and collaboration abilities. Teams must also learn how to effectively craft, communicate, and execute the plan to reach desired outcomes. The topics are complimented with examples and exercises for participants to practice approaches.

This course is applicable to business owners who have a basic understanding of Marketing Strategy and entry-level marketers with three years of experience.

The Customer Journey and Social Media

January 5, 2021 | 9AM – 12PM

How to affect customers’ decisions (and make them take the actions you want!) Map your customer’s journey. The Customer Journey is based on the fact that today’s consumers are online and more informed than ever, which puts them on a track to make an educated decision on their purchase before they ever contact you. The Customer Journey is essentially doing a ton of Internet research before making a purchase — and we’ve all been there before.

The sales funnel represents the theoretical customer’s journey to making a purchase. Marketers structure their entire strategy around moving prospects through the funnel, towards the ultimate goal of winning a new customer. Here’s the problem: like many classic business concepts, the funnel has become outdated.

The intersection of the sales funnel, conversion rates, the buyer journey and the decision making process is here; how well do you understand your consumer?

During this workshop you will map your customer journey through your lead funnel and identify gaps and blind spots and how to solve them.

Craft the Perfect Email Marketing Campaign

May 4, 2021 | 9AM – 12PM

Effective email marketing campaigns need to be cleverly written to attract attention in busy inboxes. Love them or hate ‘em, they work.

Carmella newsletter open rates are above industry standards and are used to drive website traffic and make people aware of events and special offerings. Personalization, design, clever introductions are just part of the story.

Newsletters are one of the highest converting tools when used correctly, available to marketers. By focusing on storytelling first, being helpful to the consumer and starting a conversation before delivering any sales pitch, open rates are higher and conversions are above the industry standard.

Create Your Content Calendar (Part 3)

November 10, 2020 | 9AM – 12PM

How to create content that ladders up to strategic business objectives? Start with those objectives and analytics. A content calendar will save your business time in the long run. Learn what information to include, how to make your posts visually appealing, cohesive, and how to internally communicate with a team to achieve objectives. Ultimately you’ll have more time to focus on your work-work instead of your social-media-work — because you already planned it. By sitting down and blocking out some time to plan, you’ll save hours compared to taking time out of each day to plan your posts.

Social media content calendars help you see what you’ve already published and if the content you’re publishing across multiple channels is cohesive. In an ideal world, how many times a day/week/month would you be posting to your Instagram, Instagram Stories, Pinterest, Facebook, Facebook Stories, Youtube, or Twitter?

Definitely the most organized presentation I have ever seen, right from the start, Stephanie met with me via zoom, and was more prepared to help than any other marketing/consulting team. I interviewed many. Their highly “tailored to my needs approach” paved the way for a seamless transition into what is becoming a wonderful business relationship! I can finally rest and trust that our marketing is being handled, in an effective way. Thanks everyone at Carmella! Highly recommend to business professionals!

Google Review Carmella

I recently attended a Social Media Mastery session with Stephanie O’Brien of Carmella Consulting. With marketing and technology in the social media world being way out of my comfort zone, I was surprised to learn some invaluable steps, that make it very easy, to put my company ahead in the online search world. I look forward to attending more sessions.
