Carmella didn’t start with a big agency vision or a plan to disrupt digital marketing. It started with family, love, and a laptop. Founder Stephanie O’Brien named the company after her two daughters, Carmen and Bella, who inspired her every step of the way. In those early days, with Bella in her lap and her laptop on the table, Stephanie juggled motherhood and entrepreneurship, growing Carmella from four clients into an award-winning marketing agency.
The Carmella name became more than a blend of names—it became a symbol of meaning, heart, and dedication. Stephanie’s friend, Lynne Risk of Risk Creative, designed the Carmella logo: vibrant colours representing diversity and accolades, with two mountains standing tall for Carmen and Bella, nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies where Carmella calls home.
As Carmella grew, so did its symbol. Today our logo shows the mountains rising from the earth, reflecting the company’s journey of growth, strength, and transformation—always staying true to its adventurous, outdoorsy roots.
