Canmore Chamber Conversation Cafe November

Canmore Conversation Cafe

On November 8th, join 35 businesses at the Canmore Chamber Conversation Cafe and discover what steps you can take to collaborate, stimulate and encourage growth within your economic sector.

Over the past two months, the conversation was focused on challenges, the low-hanging fruit, and the long-term vision for each economic sector. This month, the conversation will shift to be action-focused. Each group will begin to identify a process and lay out the framework for moving their economic sector closer to their vision statements.

These 90-minute breakfast meetings will take place at the Hive Elevation Gallery, and Chez Francois is providing our delicious eats. We will include 30 minutes of general networking followed by an hour of facilitated breakout discussion within your economic sector. Monthly topics will be chosen by the group, making it a perfect opportunity to solve common challenges and identify collaborative efficiencies and opportunities. The following working groups will be featured:

  • Food Manufacturing
  • Health & Wellness
  • Higher Education
  • Creative, Cultural & Multimedia
  • General Business
  • Chamber of Commerce

The Goal: To leave with a connection. Get to know your community. Overlaps and Linkages. Building bonds. Understanding social capital.

During the November 8th session the Chamber of Commerce working group will announce the following:

  • What exactly does the Chamber look like?
  • What does the structure look like and what is the process to put it in place?
  • How is it different than other existing organizations?
  • What will you receive as a member?

If you are a business owner, if you have an opinion about the Chamber of Commerce and Canmore, or if you want to be part of the long-term strategic direction for your economic sector in Canmore, we urge you to attend.
